Disappointed.

by

I grow runner beans every year, and after several years of growing Kelvedon Marvel very successfully I thought I'd try something different this year. Very, very disappointed. This pink flowered runner bean produced few flowers and even fewer pods. Back to scarlet flowered beans next year.

Isabelle,
We are sorry to hear that the Sunset runner bean did not work well for you. We hope that you will keep tying our other varieties.

My favorite bean & the hummingbirds', too

by

This is my favorite bean. The coral colored flowers are beautiful, and the hummingbirds seemed to prefer this over a red-flowered variety. Produces loads of large runner beans. Very tasty. I have a short fence around my garden, and the vines didn't mind going horizontal once they reached the top. My zone is 4a.
