I can't get these to grow more than a foot tall
by LB
The plants remain stunted, then eventually die off after only growing 5 or so beans per plant. I've tried a few years in a row, adjusting nutrients along the way. Can't find anything that works.
Fantastic beans
by Tracey Bally
My plants got so big they needed to be staked, it says Bush bean but they definitelyneed support. Produced so many beans it was hard to keep up which was fine as I was able to save enough to plant next year. A great tasting bean, these will stay in the planting plan for years.
Great wax bean- just like grandma’s
by Hickoryhollow
Great success with this bean. Prolific plants all season long. Long pods. Meatier than traditional green bean so provide nice variety for fresh or canning use. Plants were Bush habit, about 1 ft tall. I did not need to stake at all like another reviewer. Will plant again!
Productive Yellow Wax Beans -Terrific!
by Mary
These bush beans did very well in the summer of 2020. They bore for a long time and ere quite productive. They were also stringless and tender. I'll grow them again next year.
Easy to pick
by Jim
I grow these without any support and they do just fine- just getting to be about a foot tall. The white pods are way easier to find and pick than green beans.
Prolific Producer
by Michael
Although they're a bush variety, they don't stand up straight - probably because of all the BEANS growing on them! I just lift them off the ground and pick away. They don't stop producing.
The BEST
by Richard
These are my favorite yellow wax bean. These were so tender and flavorful. They produced many batches of beans. The best.

by amy
Excellent beans, sweet, good flavor, tender, beans are meaty if you let the pods grow till they're heavy & straight. Heavy-bearing, long-bearing bush about 2' high.
