The Story of Chinese
We received this variety of gourd from Seed Savers Exchange member Ken Stoller of Ohio. It is also known as "Jack Be Little" an "Munchkin" gourd.
Gourds were brought to Europe and the Americas as early as 11,000 BCE and to Asia by 6,000 BCE. Gourds were domesticated in both Africa and Asia independently.
Many cultures have used gourds to create tools, toys, bird houses, and musical instruments as well objects of art.
