This pepper is: SWEET

Bell peppers are sweetest when they mature to a full red, but the crunchy green flesh is a great addition to many savory dishes. You can stuff peppers with quinoa, rice, or a mixture of cheese and beans and bake. This variety is one of the best for frying and has a delicious "roasted apple" flavor.

Roast your red peppers over a burner or under a broiler, then peel and puree with hummus or slice and add to grilled eggplant and mozzarella sandwiches with fresh basil.

Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼” deep. Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm.

  • Germination: 14 Days
  • Plant Outdoors: 12-24” Apart
  • Light: Full Sun

Strong and robust grower for higher elevations and cool nights, good producer also, impressive.

Early Favorite: Sweet, juicy, and delicious!

by

This was a star producer in the garden. Very early, prolific, did well with heat/drought stress. The peppers are sweet and juicy with tender flesh. Plants were surprisingly compact, making it a great choice for limited growing space. We spaced these peppers 10 inches all around, but they could go closer together and still thrive. We will be saving the seeds from these and growing again next year!
