This variety works for:

  • Fresh eating
  • Sauce
  • Roasting
  • Canning
  • Freezing

Store your tomatoes at room temperature. The flavor and texture of tomatoes suffer when the fruit is chilled.

Heirloom tomatoes are bred for their flavor and simple preparation best allows that intense flavor to shine through. Tomatoes can be sliced and drizzled with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper or layer slices with basil and mozzarella for a Caprese salad.

Roasted tomatoes have a richer, concentrated flavor.

There are hundreds of salsa recipes to try and most are dramatically improved with the use of heirloom tomatoes. Tomatoes are also the main ingredient in Gazpacho, a cold soup that is perfect for summer.

I had no idea a tomato could taste so good.

by

I buy this variety every year. It is the most tasteful variety of tomato I have ever had. The skin is not thick, the inner portion is soft and juicy. It is jam packed with flavor. Very abundant producing, medium sized plant. Perfect for salsa, slicing, and canning. I bring them in to neighbors and people at work and they all love it too. Highly recommended.

Vigorous plant, lots of good fruit.

Plant was vigorous, plenty of fruit, unfortunately, we learned that we do not care for the soft flesh and low acid flavor of the pink tomatoes.

Good looking, great tasting tomato that tolerates some shade

by

This is one of the better tasting tomatoes I have grown. It produces early and rarely cracks. If your tomato ground gets more shade than you would like, this might be a good variety to try. We grew it in 2019 and 2020 in a plot that got a half day of shade and it still did great. This year, 2021, we moved to an area where it can get sunshine from sunrise to sunset, and it has done just as well in taste and looks, but more productive than our shady lot. I didn't order this variety, but got it from Seed Savers because another item I ordered was out of stock. I am glad they sent it to me as I am very impressed by it.

Top Tomato

One of my favorite tomatoes. Not the quickest to produce, nor the most prolific, but a beautiful fruit that is EXCELLENT tasting. No issues with splitting
