Beautiful beans!
by Tracey Bally
So pleased with these! This was my first year growing beans to dry and the tiger eye did not disappoint. 1 packet produced 7lbs of dried beans and that was after i picked some for fresh eating. Will definitely be growing these again.
Prolific, wonderful taste, slight vining habit.

These are so prolific and they taste great! One thing, they have always had a semi-pole habit when I grow them. The vines they produce are not nearly as long as true pole beans or runner beans, but in my experience they need some trellising.
A great bean!

Tiger Eye grew wonderfully in Northern Minnesota this summer. Great germination and the pods dried on the plant. I got a pound of beans from planting a packet of bean seeds. Now I look for recipes for them!
