Short, Puffy & Delightful

by

These short puffy delightful sunflowers just make me smile every time I look at them. The local wildlife loves them too (bees, birds, & the squirrels will make a meal out of the heads). I will often use them to edge my 3-sisters bed.

Easy to grow, delightful border for full sun garden

I first saw this variant or its close relative at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris and fell in love! I was so happy to find this at Seedsavers. The center of the bloom starts as a bright chartreuse that transforms to golden yellow. The bees love it too!

So cute and easy to grow!

I grew these for the first time last year. They are beautiful and unique plus they are easy to grow from seed. I plan to have these every year.

Not the right seeds or cross pollinated

by

The 2022 seeds were small red, with one or two rows of pedals, not teddy bears at all. Very disappointed.
