Good dye plant

by

Somewhat slow to grow and start blooming but very prolific once it got going. Lovely, strong scent. Nice, rounded bushy growth. Used to make a pale yellow dye.

Pollinator gem that's easy to grow

by

Easy pollinator friendly annual that pairs well with native purple asters for a brilliant fall display. Feeds bees when little else is blooming in z4 fall garden. Saved seeds are a favorite for my Grandchildren to start on February windowsills. I clip back 1/3 when planted outside for a bushy, low groundcover. Many different colors that should be a favorite in any pollinator garden!
