Starfire Signet Marigold
- Annual plants grow up to 12 inches tall
- Single orange, gold, maroon, and yellow flowers
- Sweet spicy scented foliage
- Great in ornamental or container plantings
(Tagetes tenuifolia) First introduced to gardeners in the 1930s. Bright green leaves and masses of single orange, gold, maroon, and lemon flowers make this 12" bushy plant excellent for borders and a great filler. Sweet spicy-scented foliage associated with older marigolds. When the nights start to cool, the colors tend to increase in intensity and provide a fiery display. Annual.

Good dye plant
Somewhat slow to grow and start blooming but very prolific once it got going. Lovely, strong scent. Nice, rounded bushy growth. Used to make a pale yellow dye.
