When will my order ship?

Due to a high volume of orders and COVID-19 safety measures enacted on-site at Heritage Farm, we are currently experiencing 30-day shipping delays. Please know that our very dedicated order-fulfillment team is working as quickly as possible to get open-pollinated seed into the hands of home and market gardeners around the country. Your order confirmation email indicated the projected shipping time frame for your order. We will send you a tracking number when your order ships. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause, and we very much appreciate your patience and support.

If you placed your order over 30 days ago, please contact customer service by email at orders@seedsavers.org to check the status of your order.

What does “pending fulfillment” mean?

“Pending fulfillment” means that we have received your order and are working to pack and ship it to you. We will send you a tracking number once your order has shipped.

There was a charge on my account but now it is gone. Is there a problem with my order?

The billing of your order will complete once your order ships. It is not uncommon to see a “funds hold” on your account and then not see it after a couple of days. This is not an indication of a billing issue or order cancellation. We will contact you directly if there are any billing issues with your order.

Some items on my order are now out of stock. Will I receive all the seeds I ordered? Or will you substitute something? Can you back order that item and send the rest now?

Some of the items you ordered may not still be available to order at this time, but the ones you ordered are reserved for you. In the rare case that we may not be able to send you every item on your order, we will email you to let you know about any necessary changes or substitution options for your order.

There are no shipping options for my address.

If there is a purple “ship to this address” button below your shipping address, you must click that button before any shipping options will appear.

If you are entering your address for the first time, please fill out the fields from top to bottom. It is important that you fill out your zip code and select your city from the dropdown menu. Then begin to type in your street address and select your address from the drop-down menu. Avoid using symbols like “#” or punctuation after abbreviated words.

One of the items I would like is currently out of stock. Will it be available this spring?

Our very dedicated order-fulfillment team is working hard to get seeds into the hands of home and market gardeners as quickly as possible. It is very possible that the variety you are looking for may not be available again this season.

Where can I get Seed Savers Exchange seeds in my area?

Seed Savers Exchange partners with retail locations across the country to bring high-quality, open-pollinated, and non-GMO seed to communities across the country. While we are facing shipping delays at our Heritage Farm headquarters at the moment, many of these retail locations currently have seeds that are available to purchase.
