Growing Instructions
Instructions - Sow seeds outdoors after last frost. Sunflowers prefer full sun to light shade and well-drained rich soil. Provide support for tall plants.

Maybe it's the climate, or maybe someone packaged the wrong seeds, because every other type of sunflower we grow does well, but these are topping out around 4ft. Thin growth no matter where we put them as well, flower is about 1 - 2in in the center, 4 - 5in diameter total with the petals, looks more like a big yellow daisy. Comparatively our black oil sunflowers that are spread around from our bird feeder are probably 100 times larger plants, literally 5ft wide, and 10 times larger flowers on each. These things germinate and kick off extremely quickly but that's about it. This is our second year with them but I wouldn't order them again. If it weren't for the seeds being obvious, I wouldn't even know these are sunflowers.
