This variety works for:

  • Fresh eating

This lettuce can be used in salads or as an addition to sandwiches and burgers. Mix it with other varieties to create a salad mix of different textures, colors, and flavors.

Salads that have a lettuce base are often combined with grated cheese, fresh or dried fruit, nuts, and rich and crispy meats like bacon or pork belly.

This variety is also great for lettuce wraps. The crisp, sweet flavor of the lettuce compliments spicy fillings nicely.

yes, you want this lettuce.

Really enjoyed this variety. The leaves were nice and soft, and turned my salads into that dreamy, zen-like experience we all want. Harvested leaves from a couple heads twice a week mid-to-late spring, but I could definitely have harvested more frequently. I still have one head that I'm saving for the right moment. I sewed seeds indoors and directly, and the germination was fair. Would definitely grow this again!

Great Lettuce

This is the best lettuce I’ve ever grown in 5b. Direct sown outside and planted thickly in early May. Delicious and had no issue with pests. Enjoying end of June after we’ve had many 90 plus degree days and it’s still beautiful with no bolting.
