Kerr Apple Tree
- Crab-apple, heavy-blooming
- Excellent for preserves and jellies
- Ripens September to October
Originally bred in Canada, this crab-apple dates back to 1952, when it was first introduced commercially. This heavy-blooming variety produces fruit that are large for a crab-apple, with skin that turns to a dark-red, almost purple color. It is excellent for making preserves and jellies.
