Donated by SSE member Reverend C. Frank Morrow of Minnesota. In his donation letter, Reverend Morrow states that the variety originated in Germany and has been in his family since 1916. Red beefsteak fruit 4-5" in diameter, 1½ lbs. Double fruit common. Good flavor, low acid, moderately sweet. Indeterminate, 80-90 days from transplant.

Start Indoors: 6 weeks before last frost
Germination: 7-14 Days
Plant Outdoors: 24-36” Apart
Support: Cage, stake, or trellis
Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep. Tomatoes are sensitive to freezing temperatures, so wait to transplant outdoors until the soil is warm. Plant in full sun.

These tomato’s work very well in my garden they produced lots of large fruits and were very good was concerned about the hot summers we have in Louisiana but they did great

Love these tomatoes

Love these tomatoes, reliable producer, large fruits, even into late season. Grow great even at 7200 ft elevation in Wyoming, where we have like a 55 day growing season. Tasty and meaty.
