Item Details

Introduced in 1899 by the Holmes Seed Company of Canton, Ohio. Round, bright red roots with white flesh, 1.25" diameter. Highly uniform in shape when grown in good soil. Roots are very crisp with excellent texture and juicy, mild flavor. Early maturity, 25-30 days.

Instructions - Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Plant in full sun. Successive plantings can be made every 3-4 weeks throughout summer and fall to provide a continual harvest.

This is an excellent radish

This is absolutely the best radish ever. Cherry Belle was my favorite for years. Holmes Royal Red easily outshines even Cherry Belle. If it's ever in stock again, definitely buy a packet and plant a row about every week. Once you bite into your first handful, you will be glad you did.
