  • Conventional
  • Bush bean
  • Shelling and Dry bean

This variety works for:

As your lima beans are maturing, shell them and toss the fresh seeds into salads with mint, feta, and hulled corn.

If you grow your limas as dry beans, try adding them to spicy Moroccan stews or Asian curries as the flavor of the bean will hold up well.

Not all the same type

The seeds in the packet were not all bush-type beans. Many were climbers. Good tasting though.

wonderful little lima bean

Tender, small lima beans. Mine flowered later than I expected, but produced well. Tolerated hot, arid 8B summer, but I do wonder if the heat made them drop the flowers at the peak of our heat wave - they didn't set until temps dropped out of the 100s.

Beautiful Lima Bean

Been growing these for the last several years on the southern most tip of zone 7b and they produce wonderfully (usually 2 full rounds of crops) can well, and taste delicious.
