My favorite type of kale to grow, currently have some growing under lights here in zone 5/6 since January that we have been harvesting. Just planted a second set of seeds to plant out under my row covers for continued harvests. Great taste, prolific, and holds up to summer conditions here as well (provided it is not in full sun).

Excellent taste, tender, hardy. Grew very well in heavy clay. Still doing well as November turns and flurries start. Leaves will yellow and drop if you don't harvest them in good time.
