Apple Tree, Fall Russet

SKU: AT0037
  • Creamy yellow flesh
  • Crisp & sweet to sharp

The yellowish green skin gives way to a gold to orange blush with patches of solid russet. The creamy yellow flesh is crisp and sweet to sharp, and is almost reminiscent of a pear. The medium size fruits are roundish, sometimes slightly ribbed. Discovered in an old family orchard in Franklin, MI, the original tree was planted c. 1875 and brought to notice by Robert Nischke in 1956.
