(Chenopodium ambrosioides) Native to Central America and South America, this pungent, aromatic herb is traditionally used dried or fresh in bean dishes to impart a fuller flavor. Adding leaves near the end of the cooking time is said to help minimize flatulence as well. Self-sows readily. Annual.

Instructions - Sow seeds indoors just beneath the surface of the soil. Plant out after the danger of frost has passed in late spring. Can also be directly sown after the last spring frost. Harvest leaves regularly to keep plants from bolting. Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply.
