Low germination rate

by

I started about 8 other varieties of Zinnia at the same time and all have anywhere from 70-100% germination rates. Unfortunately, the Envy has an extremely low germination (~40%). I'm still excited to have a few seedlings to set out in the garden once our last frost has past and plan on direct sowing when the weather allows, but am still disappointed at such a low germination rate.

Seed Savers Response: Hi Sarah, I'm sorry to hear that this seed did not meet your expectation for germination. We test germination every year to make sure only the best seed leaves our location. Please reach out to our customer service team to be sent a replacement for this seed.

Great choice for better bouquets

by

My husband suggested he liked the look of this one, so I decided to give it a try. He chose well! As with all zinnias, it is easy to grow. The distinct flower color adds tremendously to flower bouquets because of the contrast with the typical summer palette. And it looks great in the garden, too. Definitely recommended!
