Consistent producer, great flavor
by Amy S
I purchased these seeds and grew them in the 2021 season in central North Carolina (Greensboro area). Out of the eight pepper varieties that I grew that year, these peppers were among the best. All my seeds germinated and grew very well. They’ve got a very good flavor (nice and sweet-not a hint of “hot”), and the plants consistently produced many peppers. I also think that they produced peppers that ripened quicker than the other peppers varieties, which was nice because they made it to the dinner table faster and didn’t hang out long enough to be eaten by bugs. My other peppers sometimes took forever to fully ripen and, as a result, many of them ended up being dinner for some silly caterpillar. These peppers, however, quickly transitioned to their fully-ripe chocolate color. They are wonderful to eat green or fully “chocolate”. I will say that they do not taste anything like a chocolate candy bar though. My children are a little disappointed...lol!
