First offered by the Aggeler & Musser Seed Company of Los Angeles in 1922. Beautiful dull bronze-orange skin. Have deep-orange, moist, sweet flesh. Needs a long growing season to mature. In a normal season this can be done at Heritage Farm, which is on the Iowa-Minnesota border.

Thin: To 3-4 Plants

Instructions - Sow seeds outdoors in 12" diameter hills after danger of frost has passed. Hills should be spaced 6' apart in all directions. Can also be started indoors 3 weeks before transplanting out.
