Incredible flavor but low yields

by

We loved the flavor, color, and size of these beans, but the germination rates were pretty low, as well as the yield per plant. I'm going to try again this season in case it was a soil or nutrient issue, and not the genetics of the plant.

Love ‘em!

Excellent flavor and yields. Very happy with this selection.

Gorgeous but low-yielding

by

I loved the 12 (twelve) beans I got from 15 plants I tended. Other beans did not have such issues in similar growing conditions. So sad, because they're gorgeous!

Soft bean

I like these beans! When cooked they mash easy. A little too easy. Turns brown. Guess that would make a good refried bean! Has a unique flavor.

Warm Weather Bean

First year iI have grown these. Slow to start and sprout, seems to like consistently warm temps. Vigorous plants, good germination. Not flowering yet, but may be a long season bean so I am very hopeful. Looking great at just 35 days.

I’ve grown this bean two years in a row. Although the germination rate is relatively low, I’m gonna keep growing this bean. Beautiful dried. This year I learned when to harvest to have a variety of meals from fresh maturity to dry. Yummy!

a family favorite!

These beans are just so beautiful. They are great in chili and soup and have been easy to grow for us for the past 3 years. No issues with germination or low yield here in northern Ohio.
