Introduced to SSE in 1998 by Dale Austin of Washington. A real standout among all of SSE’s red pears due to its superior flavor. Large 2" red tomatoes with elongated neck. Very productive. Occasionally a plant with yellow fruit appears. Indeterminate, 80 days from transplant.

Start Indoors: 6 weeks before last frost
Germination: 7-14 Days
Plant Outdoors: 24-36” Apart
Support: Cage, stake, or trellis
Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep. Tomatoes are sensitive to freezing temperatures, so wait to transplant outdoors until the soil is warm. Plant in full sun.

These were the earliest to fruit and very prolific. They didn’t have the best flavor/texture but we never ran out of tomatoes in our snacking bowl on the counter, thanks to them.
