Fun Variety

by

Direct sowed these zone 6b as a fall crop in mid august. It is still HOT here through august/September but I kept them well watered while they were establishing themselves. The peas are cute and different since they are yellow, with light purple flowers. They taste great! I prefer planting colored peas like these or purple magnolia so they are easier to spot when picking, whereas the green peas blend in and are harder to find. Thanks for the fun variety!

Gorgeous plants!

The purple flowers that change to blue once pollinated, revealing sunshine-yellow pods?! The best time I've ever had growing peas!

Go-to pea for short spring

These are my favorite peas I've ever grown. I live in zone 4b, but the spring here goes from frozen ground to summer heat super quickly. These seem to be forgiving of heat and are so beautiful and tasty. I look forward to growing them every year.
