Growing Instructions
Instructions - Sow continuously for a constant supply of lettuce. Best grown in cooler weather. Plant in full sun or partial shade.

Disappointed

Purchased this variety with the intent of producing sweet heads. Not one of the 15 plants I planted produced heads. All died within 2 weeks.

Wonderful, sweet and crispy lettuce. We've been picking as loose leaf 2x per week! As with any lettuce, likes constant moisture and some shade!
high quality, easy to grow, slow to bolt

Had good germination, delicate tender leaves. Thinned them as the heads grew so I got baby lettuces and fully mature heads. Easy, not issues with pests, and didn't bolt even with many nearly 100 degree days.

A new family favorite! Very crisp. We've had a heat wave and this lettuce has still not bolted. Cut early in the morning for the best flavor in hot temps. Grew very well in zone 7b. I'm ordering more now for next year. Thank you Seed Savers!
Winter Greens

I planted these last fall and have been growing them in the basement under lights ever since. It's so nice to have fresh greens in the dead of winter. They grow so well and are pretty, too.
