Parsley can be planted directly into the garden in the spring just be for the last frost of your season. Try soaking the seeds in warm water for 24 hours before planting them. You can sow the seeds 1/4 inch deep in the soil and they will germinate in about 14-21 days. You can also start the seeds indoors a few weeks before your last frost in order to plant out seedlings earlier. Parsley will grow well in full sun or partial shade and should be thinned to 6-12 inches apart as it grows. Giant from Italy Parsley will be mature in 68-75 days.
