Alert! Join Seed Savers Exchange in helping to save the Pavlovsk Station from development
A Russian court recently ruled that one of the world's most important seed banks near St. Petersburg, Russia may be destroyed in order to make way for a housing development. If allowed to stand, this decision will have a catastrophic impact on global plant diversity. Called a "living library", the Pavlovsk Experimental Station is widely considered the crown jewel of agricultural biodiversity, since 90% of the collection's varieties are not found anywhere else on the planet.

Annual Tomato Tasting event September 4
Join us at Heritage Farm for the annual Tomato Tasting on Saturday, September 4 from 1-4pm.
Come to the farm for Tomato Seed Saving workshops, sample some of our favorite tomato varieties and take hayride tours of Seed Saver's tomato fields. There will be live music, a Salsa Contest and even a Kid's Tomato Squish & Save Station to get those youngsters saving seeds.

Fall Harvest Celebration at Heritage Farm
Come celebrate the colors of autumn in their magnificent splendor at Seed Savers' Heritage Farm during our Fall Harvest on Saturday, October 2 from 12-4pm.
See how an old-fashioned cider press works using apples from our Historic Apple Orchard. Seed Savers has the most diverse public orchard in the U.S. with hundreds of pre-1900 apple varieties. In addition, there will be wine sampling, pumpkin carving and hay wagon rides through Twin Valleys where you'll see our Ancient White Park cattle herd.
