Visitors Center opens for 2010 season
The Lillian Goldman Visitors Center opened for the season on Monday, April 5. The hours are Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm.
Heirloom seeds, potatoes and cold hardy plants are available now. Check out our garden books, tools and gifts.

May 1 - Bird and Wildflower Walks and Pancake Breakfast
8am – 11am (hikes every ½ hour)
Join naturalists Dennis Carter, Larry Reis and others for bird and wildflower hikes through the scenic trails of Heritage Farm. The Decorah Lion’s Club will be preparing the pancakes, topped with locally produced maple syrup!

Plus the Dig & Discover Youth Conference
Seed Savers Exchange co-founder Diane Ott Whealy will keynote the conference, discussing the 35 year history of the organization. Joining her will be Maria Rodale, chairman and CEO of Rodale, Inc., who will talk about her latest book entitled Organic Manifesto: How Organic Farming Can Heal Our Planet, Feed the World,
and Keep Us Safe.
