Excellent Lettuce

by

Grows back very quickly after cutting.

Simply doesn't bolt, ever

by

This lettuce is remarkable. I've grown it for two years in high-desert Colorado and found, to my surprise and delight, that it just doesn't bolt. Ever. Even in weeks of 90+F heat. This is the only lettuce I'll be turning to for my high-stress garden in this state.

Good until Memorial Day in Mississippi

by

I’m a fan of this lettuce. I like it’s taste and how well it grows. That being said - I’m in Mississippi and by Memorial Day the lettuce had turned bitter even though it still looked good and had not bolted. I will buy and plant it again but found it’s summer use for Mississippi only slightly better than other lettuces.

Great Taste

by

I’m in central Mississippi and had the same experience as the other person from Mississippi. It didn’t bolt until around late July but by late May, it had turned bitter. I did love the taste of the lettuce before it turned - mild and crisp with a quick recovery after harvesting. I will plant it again.
