Prairie, Purple Prairie Clover Description
This plant is native to the central parts of North America, and while not a true type of "clover" it is a great addition to prairie plantings. The taproot of Purple Prairie Clover can grow to about 6 feet deep, making the plant a good choice for landscapes in need of erosion control or revegetation efforts.
