This variety will grow well in most regions of the United States.
This prairie flower, sometimes known as "eastern purple coneflower" or "Echinacea", is native to North America. Some believe that these flowers stimulate the immune system and were used by Native American Indians.
This variety can be sown directly into your garden soil about 1/2 of an inch deep. The seeds will take around 10-20 days to germinate. These prairie seeds should be planted just before the last frost of your spring season. We recommend that you plant them in full sun to partial shade about 18-24 inches apart.
