This variety works for:

  • Fresh eating
  • Roasting
  • Salsa

This pepper is: SWEET

Bell peppers are sweetest when they mature to a full color, but the crunchy green flesh is a great addition to many savory dishes. You can stuff peppers with quinoa, rice, or a mixture of cheese and beans and bake or cook rings of pepper in a skillet with a fresh egg inside.

Roast your red peppers over a burner or under a broiler, then peel and puree with hummus or slice and add to grilled eggplant and mozzarella sandwiches with fresh basil.

Growing Instructions

Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼” deep. Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm.

  • Start Indoors: 8 weeks before last frost
  • Germination: 14 Days
  • Plant Outdoors: 12-24” Apart
  • Light: Full Sun

Not spicy

by

Sweet and meaty 4 lobed peppers, consistent 4 inches tall weighing between 5 - 8 ounces each. No less than 6 peppers per plant, our favorite orange variety.

Keeps the peppers coming and adds beautiful color!

Purchased and grew these in my 2021 garden. These plants grew extremely well in Greensboro area NC! And the pepper production was amazing. Lots and lots of peppers for each plant. Took a little bit to transition all the way to the orange color, so I ended up harvesting quite a few when they were green. But the flavor was very good as well. Definitely more flavorful when it was the full orange color, but flavor was still delicious when green. I had these in full sun, and they never offered to wilt or burn even in our hot North Carolina summers. I definitely recommend these. All of the seeds that I planted germinated and the plants grew considerably well. Flavor is beautifully sweet and more intense when orange. Not a hint of “hot“.
