Beautiful & Tasty!

by

This is one of the most beautiful lettuces I have ever seen. It is refreshing to look at. It is easy to grow, to cut & come again, and I like the flavor. It also seems to handle Florida heat well. I am really glad to have "discovered" this. Thanks Seed Savers.

The only oak leaf I grow

by

Amazing color, size and flavor, this tops my list for oak leaved lettuces. Plant no less than 8 inches apart then get ready to cut and come again all season long.

Heat, drought and cold tolerant, good tasting...

by

I have been growing this since the 80s. First in No Cal, then in Hawaii for a few decades and now on Cape Cod. Over the years of letting it go to seed I have bred for heat and drought tolerance and lately cold tolerance also. The last 2 years I sowed seed in September, came back in April to beautiful plants that survived 20 degree New England winter.Best ever!!

Delicious, and held well in heat

by

I planted this lettuce in the fall, it wintered over nicely (in Virginia), establishing good roots, and came to life in the spring. Of all the varieties I planted, it held the best as the weather heated up. It never got bitter and I didn't lose any of it to bolting.

Crisp and Beautiful

Grew these in North Carolina, amazing, definitely will buy more.

These change color depending when you plant thema

Grew these in NC, they have black seeds and grow well here from January/February for me, I bolted so I probably won’t need these seeds now, but they fed me the most, for two months, wash them after harvesting, bugs (ants/aphids) like them, but they’re so delicious and beautiful on a white plate.
