Bacterial Leaf spot

by

It grew into beautiful tight heads. It was not sweet as mentioned. One month in the leaves got bacterial leaf spot and was oozing when leaves were removed.

Beautiful and plentiful

by

I am currently harvesting my first crop. I germinated them in choir indoors under a grow light and transplanted in spring. They grew and grew and are just as beautiful as the picture. I love a smooth leaf and these had a good germination rate! I’m harvesting the outer leaves and they just keep growing. I live in the DC area with very hot summers. My arugula has bolted but not the Ella Kropf yet!

Must try This delicious Butterhead

by

I grew this in a raised bed, zone 10A, delicious, great germination rate, I let a few go to seed and planted a second crop, they were as good as the originals. So 1 packet of seed 11 months of lettuce! I donated to a local farmer any we didn't eat and the chickens loved it too!
