Cauliflower grows best when started indoors. Sow your seeds 1/4 inch deep in soil trays or pots. Seeds will take 4-10 days to germinate and should be transplanted after about 6 weeks. Plant them outdoors just before the last frost and leave 24 inches between the plants.Plants are mature in 60-85 days from transplanting. Some growers tie the leaves of plants across the heads as they grow to prevent light from reaching them in a process known as blanching. While blanching results in head that is more white than yellow, it is not necessary.
There are about 5.6k seeds in an ounce of Early Snowball cauliflower.
