2010 Calendar celebrates 35 years at Seed Savers

The 35th anniversary Seed Savers’ Calendar is already in production. Following past themes, this year’s product will feature pictures of heirloom fruits, vegetables and flowers, as well as seasonal scenes around Heritage Farm.

The 2010 calendar will also include food information and recipes from Seed Savers’ co-founder Diane Ott Whealy as well as recipes from our special friends from their wonderful books: Chef Kurt Michael Friese, A Cook’s Journey: Slow Food in the Heartland; Decorah restaurateur James McCaffrey, Midwest Corn Fusion; Seed Savers Exchange Board Member Deborah Madison, Local Flavors: Cooking and Eating From America’s Farmers’ Markets and Vegetarian Suppers from Deborah Madison’s Kitchen; Board Member Rosalind Creasy, Recipes from the Garden; and Board Chair Amy P. Goldman, The Compleat Squash, a Passionate Grower’s Guide to Pumpkins, Squash, and Gourds. The calendar will retail for USA $13.95 and CAN $15.95.
