  • Once a leading canning variety, also great for fresh eating

This variety works for:

  • Fresh eating
  • Sauce
  • Roasting
  • Canning
  • Freezing

Store your tomatoes at room temperature. The flavor and texture of tomatoes suffer when the fruit is chilled.

Heirloom tomatoes are bred for their flavor and simple preparation best allows that intense flavor to shine through. Tomatoes can be sliced and drizzled with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper or layer slices with basil and mozzarella for a Caprese salad.

Roasted tomatoes have a richer, concentrated flavor.

There are hundreds of salsa recipes to try and most are dramatically improved with the use of heirloom tomatoes. Tomatoes are also the main ingredient in Gazpacho, a cold soup that is perfect for summer.

Fantastic

by

This is a fantastic tomato variety. For the past three years it has produced well. I would say it ranks in my top ten favorite tomatoes.

Perfect all around.

by

The best tomato seeds I have grown. Very productive, the taste is perfect and versatile whether fresh, canning or cooking with. I've grown others in the last 2 years and now I'm coming back to this variety alone. It's just all around the best for me.

Germination rate is excellent

by

So far so good. seems to be 100% germination. I just did a simple potting mix. They were popping up in about 5 days under a grow light at 3". I did have them on a heat mat because they are in my barn and the temps in there can did down to the upper 50s over night. I will add some fish emulsion in the next few days. I will write back once they are in the ground and making tomatoes.
